Unity Day is designed to cultivate belonging, strengthen relationships among CCSF communities, and honor the cultures and identities that shape our campus. It’s a moment for everyone to come together, uplift one another, and celebrate what makes CCSF a truly unique place to learn and grow.

Join us this November as we honor the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of our Veterans with a powerful Veterans Day Road March. This event brings together students, Veterans, faculty, and community members to celebrate unity, pride, and the spirit of service.
EVENT AGENDA
09:00 AM — Check-In & Welcome
Participants meet at CCSF for sign-in and opening remarks. Water and light refreshments will be available before the march begins. This time also includes a short tribute to honor all Veterans present and those who served before us.
10:30 AM — Veterans Day Parade Begins
We step off from CCSF and march together as a unified community. The march will follow a safe and accessible route leading to Cafe Java. All fitness levels are welcome—this is about solidarity, not speed.
11:30 AM – 12:00 PM — Arrival & Community Social at Cafe Java
Once we arrive at Cafe Java, participants can rest, hydrate, and enjoy a welcoming community atmosphere. This is a space to connect, share stories, and celebrate the strength and service of our Veteran community.
12:00 PM — Veterans Appreciation Gift Giveaway
All attendees will receive special Veterans Day gifts as a token of gratitude for participating and supporting the event. These gifts honor the dedication of our Veterans and the unity of those who stand beside them.

10:50 AM Road March Begins
We step off from CCSF and march together all the way to Cafe Java. This is a group paced, community focused marchopen to all fitness levels. Veterans and supporters are encouraged to walk, network, and enjoy the unity of the community.
12:30 AM – 13:00 PM Arrival at First Point
Celebrate the finish! Take a break, hydrate, and enjoy time with fellow members. This is a great moment to rest, share stories, and connect with new friends.
13:30 PM Gift Giveaway for Attendees
All participants will receive special appreciation gifts. These items are a thank you to our Veterans and supportive community members for showing up and marching with purpose.
3:30 PM – 04:00 PM Arrival at JAVA CAFE
Celebrate the finish! Take a break, hydrate, and enjoy time with fellow members. This is a great moment to rest, share stories, and connect with new friends.
